Dear Parents/Guardians:

I apologize for taking so long to communicate, but typing in all your email addresses take a while to do. For the rest of the school year, I will be communicating with you through this website with updates and reminders. If you wish to not be on my email list, please email me back and I will remove your address. Be on the look out for Progress Reports. They will be distrubuted this Thursday. It is not too late to bring up grades! 3 more weeks remain in the six weeks.

If you child was to attend tutorials Monday 10/19, I apologize for not being available, there was an emergency that I needed to attend to.For both preps, Biology and Pre-AP Biology, I am in the process of entering grades. Please check Home Access Center (HAC) to check up on your child's progess. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me using email, phone, or the contact form on this website.

For Pre-AP Biology: The students just finished a test. I will be entering their test grades as the tests are graded. Any scores lower than 70 can be brough up through Test Corrections. Test corrections need to be done in a timely manner (within 1 week of receiving scores). Please don't be too alarmed with low grades. We are only half way through the six weeks and at least 3 more assessments will be provided. We are starting a new unit over cells for the rest of the six weeks.

The following are some important dates:
10/20-21: Homework is to make play doh. Next project is making a cell model and play doh is needed by next class day to make the models.
10/28-29: Biomolecule University Project is Due.

For Regular Biology: Students are taking a test 10/20-21. I will be entering grades as the tests are scored. Any score lower than a 70 can be brought up to a 70 through Test Corrections. Please have test corrections done within one week of receiving scores. Our next unit will be Cells. It is not too late to bring up grades. There will be at least 2 more assessments and 1 more Interactive Notebook Checks.
