Unit Organizer: Cellular Energy

Students took a quiz today over Cell Energy and an Interactive Notebook Check 3. If you need help, here is the Table of Contents of what should be on what page. Before the quiz, we reviewed the two processes, Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration, using a Clarification Table to help clarify what each concept is and a Comparison Table that compares and contrasts both processes.

Today in class, we finished up our Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Notes, which was started 11/11-11/12, over Cell Energy with Cell Respiration (PPT: Cell Energy). We also completed a WS: Cell Respiration Frayer Model. Students were also given an opportunity to look over their Benchmark Tests and correct any questions missed for full credit back.

Students took a practice benchmark in preparation of the real district benchmarks (Dec, 4, 7). Afterwards, student completed a WS: Photosynthesis Frayer Model.

Today, we start our new unit over Cell Energy. Students began taking the first half of their notes over Photosynthesis and completed a comparison worksheet over Cell Respiration and Photosynthesis.
