Course Policies

GRADE BREAKDOWN:
5% = Worth Ethics
30% = Daily Activities and Homework
70% = Projects, Labs, Tests, and Quizzes

LATE POLICY:
On time = 100% max
Turned in next day = 70% max
Next class day = 50% max

RETEST POLICY:
Students are able to retest for a 70. Please see Ms. Dang for the forms and steps in order to make up a test.

ABSENT POLICY:
It is the student's responsibility to ask about missed work the day they come back to class.
Students who have an excused absence have the number of days they missed to make up their assignments.

"It's Not Too Late" Forms

Between the 3rd and 4th week of the six weeks, any child in danger of failing will receive a form, "It's Not Too Late." Using this form, the students will be able to discuss and take measures to recover before the end of the six weeks.

Grade Assessment Sheet

Every semester, the students must do a Grade Assessment Sheet. This assessment is specific to each semester. It must be completed, signed, and returned the following class day.

Extra Credit Opportunities

You must see me to receive the assignment.

1. Do an assignment to replace your lowest classroom/homework assignment grade for a 100. Must be
    completed completely in one week and 100% correct. Only one try per student per semester. Must be
    completed by the end of the 5th Six Week in the Six Weeks Grading Period. This must be done at home and not in
    the classroom. You may see me for help before or after school; just let me know you are coming.
